It is common place to find the rank 1 profile to have had at least 1 VAC ban. In addition to the above, the ranked system is plagued with cheaters. Do yourself a favor and not play this game if your intention is to get better. I took recordings of this game while I played it and a moving object when clicked on, mind you I analyzed it frame by frame in my recording, and I double-triple checked that I hit the moving target. Instead of the game actually making you get better, it frustrates you with poor hit registration/hit tracking and score scale that does not match the difficulty of the task. I suggest you steer away from this game if you truly want to improve. On every verified scenario you can see your current rank which is calculated from your position in the leaderboard, you will also be able to see what score you need to achieve to get to the next rank.
